Perfumerías Júlia buys New Chicago counterfeit note detectors for their shops.
Countermatic has equipped Perfumerías Júlia that own more than 52 shops all over Spain with the New Chicago counterfeit note detector for their shops. The software is updated for the new euro banknotes. The detection speed of the New Chicago is 0.2 seconds.
The New Chicago can detect two different currencies, the Euro and the Pound Sterling, and recognises them automatically. The value of each banknote is shown on the display, in case the banknote is detected as counterfeit there are acoustic and visual signals. The counterfeit detection has 7 securitylevels, which are: Magnetic ink, magnetic threads, infrared light, watermarks, thickness, note width and note length.
The NEW CHICAGO counterfeit banknote detector, when the DEN function is used it only displays the value of the last note tested. This function omits the total value of notes tested during the day.
When the ADD function is used the total value of all tested notes is shown on the counterfeit detector display.
