Currency software update for banknotes forgery detectors
Do you need to update your currency counterfeit detector software?
Before doing so, it is important to bear in mind the following:
Each banknote detector brand has its own software, incompatible with other brands. In Countermatic we can only update the software of our banknote detector models.
Models with updatable software:
Chicago Classic New Chicago Euro and Pound Sterling New Chicago USD, Euro, Libra, Swiss Franc Available software:
The latest software version for banknote detector models includes the new Euro banknotes of the European Series of the following denominations € 5 / € 10 / € 20 / € 50.
The future new € 100 and € 200 Euros bills will be issued during the first half of 2019, according to ECB sources.
What do I need to be able to update the software of my detector?
The purchase of the update pack includes:
- The new software (includes the new tickets of 5, 10, 20 and 50 Euros) -
The download tool - PDF guide with the steps to follow and - Technical assistance Telephone. It is very important that you indicate the Serial Number of your detector (in the Comments section of your order) and so we will send you the correct software version. (The Serial Number can be found at the bottom of your detector)
Finally, with the purchase of your Countermatic bill detector, the upgrade cable is included. In case you have lost it, you will need to purchase an upgrade cable
