New Ten Euro Note
The European Central Bank (ECB) has presented the new 10-euro note that will go into circulation on September 23, so there is enough time to prepare a smooth introduction. The ECB emphasizes that the new 10 dollar note will be easily recognizable because its design is similar to that of the first series.
"The design incorporates advances in the technology of banknotes that make the bill more resistant to counterfeiting, and will also be more durable," according to the ECB.
Countermatic customers, as well as updating the counting machines and false note detectors before the introduction of the 5 Euro note on May 2, 2013, will be able to update them for the new 10 Euro note.
We will have the new software available to be able to count and authenticate the new 10 euro note before its appearance on September 23 of this year.
The European monetary entity will introduce the new Europa series notes gradually over several years.
